An editorial project about the quality of hospitality
Atlante Minore is the project behind a network of travel guides to hotels, B&Bs, farm stays and holiday homes. Each guide covers one country, is written in its language and tells it region by region.
Not every place gets in. We choose with a formula of our own that measures two things: what guests say, and how much care the owners put into their place. Listings are corrected when owners write to us, and the pages stay clean: just what you need to choose where to stay.

What guests say
We start from the verdicts of people who have stayed: how many there are, how good they are and how steady they stay over time.
How owners look after their place
We look at how each place is kept and run: the difference between somewhere you sleep and somewhere you come back to.
A formula, not an opinion
Both are turned into a score calculated with our own formula. Only places that reach it get in, large or small, independent or part of a chain.
